Keyboards, oboe, reeds, vocals, composer. Though a versatile instrumentalist and expressive forte-piano player, Carn attained more than ill fame in 70s for penning lyrics to classical malarky anthems. Carn began keyboard lessons as a kid and was curtly playing piano and organ, summation alto saxophone. He studied hautboy and penning at Jacksonville University from 1965 to 1967, and then ruined his training at Georgia State College in 1969. He worked curtly with Lou Donaldson, Stanley Turrentine and Irene Reid, then became popular in mid-'70s with albums for Black Jazz pronounce. He penned lyrics for such songs as "Babe Eyes," "Mount Adams Apple" and "Book of Revelation." His married fair sex at the time, Jean Carn later became R&B star as single move; she changed name spelling to Carne. Carn eventually did 2 albums with Earth, Wind And Fire just was non as successful on the job with them as Ramsey Lewis.
